S26 Ultra Leaks Hint at 2026 Flagship Upgrades

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to launch in early 2026 and will serve as the successor to this year’s Galaxy S25 Ultra. Recently, alleged CAD renders of the handset surfaced online, offering a sign of its potential design. Now, the key specifications of the Galaxy S26 Ultra have reportedly leaked, showing improvements over its predecessor in thermal management, performance, and display features. Reports also hint at a new “Privacy Display” feature, and the handset is believed to be powered by Samsung’s latest Snapdragon chipset.

Expected Specifications and Features

X (formerly Twitter) user Anthony (@TheGalox_) revealed that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will feature a larger vapor chamber to improve thermal management. The device is expected to come with up to 16GB of RAM, which could offer approximately 25% faster data transfer speeds compared to the S25 Ultra.

 

 

The phone is likely to sport a 6.9-inch M14 QHD+ CoE Dynamic AMOLED display, including the new privacy display feature. Samsung’s One UI 8.5 code reportedly references “Private Display” and “Privacy Display”, highlighting enhanced on-screen privacy options for users.

Design and Colour Options

Tipster PhoneArt (@UniverseIce) shared images of the Galaxy S26 Ultra in three colour variants. Notably, there is a new orange variant, which closely look like the Cosmic Orange seen on the iPhone 17 Pro.

Camera and Storage

The Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to be offered in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options. The camera setup is likely to include a 200MP primary camera (f/1.4), a 50MP periscope lens (f/2.9 with 5x zoom), a 50MP ultrawide sensor, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom.
