At first, the phone’s size may feel slightly uncomfortable, but with continued use, it becomes easier to handle. Display and Design
The 6.9-inch large display makes the phone well suited for watching movies and streaming web series. However, two drawbacks are clearly noticeable. First, the thick bezels feel reminiscent of older smartphone designs, and second, screen visibility remains somewhat weak under bright sunlight even at full brightness. This smartphone is not designed for heavy gaming. Casual games like Pac-Man and 8 Ball Pool run smoothly, while BGMI performs adequately on low to medium settings. When the processor is pushed under heavier load, performance limitations become noticeable. On the connectivity front, 5G performance is stable and reliable, making it a good option for users transitioning from 4G to 5G. Overall, the device is better suited for light gaming and everyday use rather than long gaming sessions.
On the software side, HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 offers several customization options along with a few useful AI features. Redmi has promised two years of OS updates and four years of security patches, ensuring decent long-term software support.

With moderate usage and frequent calling, it easily lasts nearly a full day. The large 6,000mAh battery can stretch beyond a day with light usage, while the 33W fast charger refuels the device at a fairly quick pace.
Camera
Camera performance is average for its segment. Daylight photos tend to appear slightly grainy, but the 50MP primary camera does a good job with color reproduction. However, a lack of sharpness and detail means the phone falls short when it comes to delivering truly impressive photography.
