OnePlus may launch the OnePlus 15T as the successor to last year’s OnePlus 13T. A recent leak already revealed key camera details. The upcoming phone could reuse much of the previous model’s camera hardware.
Reports also suggest the device will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Additionally, it may offer up to 16GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. The phone could also include an LTPO display. Moreover, it may pack a large 7,500mAh battery.
Camera Details Revealed
According to tipster Old Chen Air on Weibo, the OnePlus 15T may include a dual rear camera setup. The system could feature a Sony Lytia 700 sensor with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. It may also include a Samsung JN5 sensor with OIS and an f/2.8 aperture. Both sensors are expected to be 50-megapixel units.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus 13T offers a 50-megapixel primary wide camera with OIS and f/1.8 aperture. It also includes a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with an f/2.0 aperture. Therefore, the main change could be the telephoto camera’s narrower f/2.8 aperture.
The tipster further claims the OnePlus 15T will cost more than its predecessor. The OnePlus 13T base model launched at CNY 3,399 (around ₹39,000) with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
