Korean Media Reveals BTS’s 8-Month World Tour, Fans Go Wild with Excitement

On July 1, 2025, after all members completed their military service, BTS made two major announcements during a Weverse livestream—a brand-new album and a global tour set to begin in the spring of 2026. Soon after, the group flew to Los Angeles in mid-July, where they kicked off an intensive two-month music production schedule.

These updates fueled even more anticipation for BTS’s grand comeback after a three-year hiatus. The announcement of a full album release and a mega world tour only solidified the group’s power in the global music industry.

Now, Korean media has shared fresh details about BTS’s 2026 schedule, doubling the excitement among ARMY.

According to FN News:

  • The 2026 BTS World Tour will run for 8 months, from May to December.
  • It will feature 65 shows, drawing an estimated 4 million fans.
  • Each concert is expected to host more than 60,000 attendees on average.
  • HYBE’s operating profit is projected to rise by nearly 100 billion KRW from Q2 2026.

Hyundai Motor Securities expert Kim Hyun-young also revealed that BTS will hold a two-week global cinema event this month, screening four concert films across 2,500 theaters in 65 countries. Additionally, pop-up stores will open ahead of the official world tour announcement.

This led Hyundai Motor Securities to raise HYBE’s target stock price to 380,000 KRW, pointing to BTS’s upcoming tour and collaborations with Western artists as key growth drivers.

Excitement among fans was already sky-high, especially after RM’s September 10 livestream, where he confirmed meetings about the album release, concert preparations, styling, and music production.

Acknowledging the challenges, RM said:
“Every day, doing everything is getting harder. But no matter how heavy the burden is, we won’t let it break us. We’ll pour all our thoughts and efforts into this album.”

ARMY flooded social media with messages of support, filled with both excitement and concern:

  • “65 shows in 8 months? That’s super intense! I hope they get enough rest.”
  • “This is going to be epic—I’m already saving for tickets!”
  • “Please don’t feel pressured. Whatever you give us, we’ll love it.”
  • “Will my country be on the list of 65 stops? Fingers crossed!”
  • “I’m so excited I can’t even handle it—I’ve been waiting for this moment forever!”

It’s clear that 2026 is shaping up to be a historic year for BTS. Fans have already started the countdown, seeing this not just as a tour, but as a precious reunion with their favorite group after so long.
