Apple May Launch Pro Models First

A research note by GF Securities analyst Jeff Pu, cited by MacRumors, highlights key design changes.
Both Pro models may feature a smaller Dynamic Island. Apple could move some Face ID components under the display. These may include the flood illuminator.
As a result, the visible screen cutout could shrink. At the same time, Face ID functionality should remain intact.
A20 Pro Chip Built on 2nm Process
The upcoming Pro models may use Apple’s new A20 Pro chipset.
TSMC is expected to manufacture the chip using its first-generation 2-nanometre process. This advanced process may improve both speed and efficiency.
In addition, the new architecture and packaging design could deliver better performance. Users may also see improved battery life.
Improved Connectivity With C2 Modem
Apple may also upgrade networking features. Reports suggest the devices could include Apple’s third-generation C2 modem.
The new modem may support NR-NTN technology. This feature could enable satellite connectivity in areas without regular cellular coverage.

Variable Aperture Camera Upgrade
