The iPhone 17 may have arrived in the market, but the iPhone 16 remains one of Apple’s most popular models in India. According to Counterpoint Research, it was Apple’s top-selling smartphone in the country this September, capturing nearly 4% of total smartphone sales.
Launched last year at a starting price of ₹79,990, the iPhone 16 is now available for under ₹65,000 on Tata-owned e-commerce platform Croma. The 128GB base variant comes in five colours — Black, White, Pink, Ultramarine, and Teal — and costs ₹66,990 without any bank offers.
Croma is offering instant discounts of up to ₹4,000 on ICICI, IDFC, and SBI credit/debit cards, bringing the effective price down to ₹62,990. This discount appears only on the OTP payment page and is applicable only when the cart contains just the iPhone 16. EMI options are also available, starting at ₹3,153 per month.
For users who need more storage, the 256GB and 512GB variants are priced at ₹76,490 (₹72,490 after bank discounts).
In terms of specifications, the iPhone 16 features a 6.1-inch OLED display, runs iOS 18, and is powered by Apple’s A18 chipset. It houses a 48MP primary camera and a 12MP ultrawide lens. Weighing 170 grams, the phone comes with IP68 dust and water resistance and supports 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.
