Google Launches Pixel Upgrade Program in India

Google has introduced the Pixel Upgrade Program in India. The initiative allows customers to upgrade their smartphones every year. Google aims to make Pixel devices more affordable and simplify upgrades to the latest models.

Monthly EMI Starts at ₹3,333

Under the program, customers can buy select Pixel smartphones on a 24-month no-cost EMI plan. Monthly payments start at ₹3,333. After completing nine EMIs, customers become eligible to upgrade to a new Pixel phone.

Simple Four-Step Upgrade Process

Google has designed the program around a four-step process. Customers first select a Pixel 10 series device. They then purchase it from an authorised partner store using the no-cost EMI option. Within one month of purchase, customers must register for the Pixel Upgrade Program on the Cashify website.

Easy Upgrade After Nine EMIs

After paying nine EMIs—and before reaching the 15th instalment—customers can choose to upgrade. Cashify credits the customer’s bank account with the remaining balance of the original EMI loan. It also closes the loan without any pre-closure charges. Customers then start a new 24-month no-cost EMI plan for the upgraded Pixel phone.

Exchange Bonus and Buyback Guarantee

Google is offering an exchange bonus of up to ₹7,000 under the program. Customers also receive an assured buyback guarantee, provided the Pixel phone powers on and passes basic functional checks.

Availability and Partners

Google is offering the Pixel Upgrade Program in partnership with Bajaj Finance, Cashify, and HDFC Bank. The limited-time program will run across select retail stores in India until June 30, 2026.
