BTS Suga Honored at Min Yoongi Center, ARMY Emotional – “His Legacy Will Live On”

BTS member Suga, also known as Min Yoongi, deeply moved fans worldwide after photos of his nameplate at the newly inaugurated Min Yoongi Center for Autism Care went viral.

The center, located at Severance Hospital in Seoul, officially opened this year. The plaque reads: “Min Yoongi Center for the MIND Program, Since 2025.”

The nameplate highlights Suga’s quiet yet impactful support for the center and its MIND Program, a social skills initiative for children and adolescents with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The program focuses on Music, Interaction, Network, and Diversity, helping participants develop social skills through engaging musical activities.

Generous Donation and Vision

Suga made history with Severance Hospital’s largest individual donation, contributing 5 billion KRW (~$3.64 million) after completing his military service in June 2025. This contribution made the treatment center possible and also established the MIND Band, a volunteer musical group that helps children with autism enhance their social skills.

Suga’s long-standing passion for combining music with social impact is evident in his support for this initiative, showcasing a humanitarian side of the global superstar that extends beyond his music career.
