BTS Jungkook: K-pop’s Record Master Sets New Milestones on Spotify and Billboard

BTS’s Jungkook has once again proven why he is hailed as K-pop’s true “record maker,” adding new achievements to his name on both Spotify and Billboard.

His song Yes or No from his debut solo album GOLDEN (released in November 2023) has now surpassed 300 million filtered streams on Spotify. This is Jungkook’s eighth solo track to reach this milestone—and the fourth track from GOLDEN to achieve this feat.

Including his BTS solo hit Euphoria, Jungkook now has nine songs that have each crossed 300 million streams.

But his accomplishments don’t stop there. Jungkook is the first and only K-pop solo artist to have 19 songs surpass 100 million streams on Spotify. Remarkably, all 18 of his original solo tracks have crossed the 100M mark—an unprecedented achievement for any Asian solo artist.

His dominance continues on Billboard as well. According to the latest chart dated September 27, his solo debut single Seven is ranked No. 145 on the Global 200, maintaining its position for 113 consecutive weeks—the longest streak for any Asian solo artist. On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, the track sits at No. 89, setting a new record with 114 consecutive weeks.
