Nothing Headphone (a) to Debut Alongside the Nothing Phone 4a Series

The Nothing Phone 4a series will launch in global markets, including India, early next month. The UK-based company has already confirmed that it will introduce the Nothing Headphone (a) with the new smartphones.

The brand also released a teaser poster that reveals the design of the upcoming over-ear headphones. The Nothing Headphone (a) will likely act as a budget-friendly alternative to last year’s Nothing Headphone 1. It may also feature the company’s signature transparent styling.

Global Launch Date and Event Timing

Nothing announced on X that it will launch the Headphone (a) on March 5 alongside the Phone 4a series. The event will begin at 10:30 AM GMT (4:00 PM IST).

The teaser shows part of the headphones in a yellow colour option. The “Nothing Headphone (a)” branding appears in a dot-matrix font. The design also includes a grey metallic edge and a dotted texture.

Expected Colours and Price

Nothing has not officially revealed the specifications yet. However, recent leaks suggest the headphones may arrive in black, pink, white, and yellow variants.

Reports indicate a price of EUR 159 (about ₹17,300) in Europe and GBP 149 (about ₹18,700) in the UK. The device has also appeared on Singapore’s IMDA certification website with model number B186. It is expected to feature a transparent design.

Comparison With Nothing Headphone 1

The Nothing Headphone (a) will likely cost less than the Nothing Headphone 1. The company launched the Headphone 1 at EUR 299 (around ₹32,500). In India, it debuted last July at ₹21,990.

The Headphone 1 offers 40mm dynamic drivers and supports up to 42dB active noise cancellation (ANC).

Connectivity, Battery and Audio Support

The Headphone 1 supports Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. It works with AAC, SBC, and LDAC audio codecs.

It packs a 1,040mAh battery and delivers up to 80 hours of playback on a single charge when ANC remains turned off during AAC streaming.
