Google has officially shared launch details for the Pixel 10a. The company will introduce the smartphone later this month in India and global markets. The Pixel 10a will succeed the Pixel 9a, which debuted in March 2025.
After weeks of leaks and speculation, Google has now teased the device. The company has confirmed that the Pixel 10a retains the same design as its predecessor. In addition, Google will offer the phone in a blue colour variant.
Pixel 10a Launch Date and Pre-Order Offer
Google has confirmed that the Pixel 10a will launch on February 18. The company has not revealed pricing details yet. However, Google Store subscribers can access an exclusive pre-order benefit.
Users who sign up for updates on the Google Store by February 13 at 1:29pm IST will qualify for this offer. Google says buyers can apply the benefit during the Pixel 10a purchase. Later, they can redeem it on a future order.
Familiar Pixel Design Continues
The Pixel 10a closely follows the design language of the Pixel 9a. It features a flat dual rear camera setup housed in a horizontal, pill-shaped camera bar. Additionally, the phone includes a single LED flash on the back.
Google has placed its branding at the centre of the rear panel. On the front, the device shows thick bezels on all sides. It also features a centrally positioned hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera. Meanwhile, the official teaser highlights the blue colour option, which resembles the Iris shade seen on the previous model.
Focus on Durability, Camera, and AI
Google has not disclosed the full specifications yet. However, the company has hinted at improved camera performance. It also claims that the Pixel 10a is the most durable Pixel A-series smartphone to date. Therefore, users can expect better dust and water resistance.
Like the Pixel 9a, the Pixel 10a will include Gemini as a built-in AI assistant. As a result, the device should offer smarter on-device features and improved AI-powered tools.
Storage Variants and Colour Options
According to reports, Google may offer the Pixel 10a in 128GB and 256GB storage variants. Besides blue, the smartphone could arrive in Berry, Fog, Lavender, and Obsidian colour options.
Expected Price
In European markets, reports suggest that the Pixel 10a could start at EUR 549 (around ₹58,000) for the 128GB model. Meanwhile, the 256GB variant may cost EUR 649 (approximately ₹69,000). Google will announce official pricing at launch.
