K-pop star Mingyu shared photos on Instagram from the pre-listening party for Hype Vibes, the debut EP of his new sub-unit with fellow SEVENTEEN member S.Coups.
On Monday, the day of their unit debut, Mingyu posted snapshots from the star-studded event, attended by SEVENTEEN bandmates and other celebrity friends. Notable attendees included SEVENTEEN members Wonwoo and Joshua, BTS member Jungkook, and soloist WOODZ.
S.Coups had also shared a similar Instagram post last September 24, featuring bandmate Seungkwan and SEVENTEEN’s longtime producer Bumzu.
On the same day, S.Coups and Mingyu officially debuted as the sub-unit CxM, releasing their six-track EP Hype Vibes along with the music video for the lead single 5, 4, 3 (Pretty Woman), featuring American rapper Lay Bankz.

CxM is the latest sub-unit from the 13-member group, following previous collaborations such as the trio BSS (Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi) and the pairings of Jeonghan & Wonwoo and Hoshi & Woozi.
