BTS’s Jimin has finally made his first public appearance, easing fans’ worries. Following the Song Da-eun controversy and the ensuing discussions, Jimin had been keeping a low profile for some time, which left ARMY a little anxious—especially after Suga’s own quiet period.

Recently, Jimin was spotted at the airport in casual attire, wearing glasses and sporting his striking blonde hair. He waved to fans, instantly brightening the atmosphere. Social media was flooded with comments like, “Blonde looks amazing on him!”, “He’s back!”, and “This airport look will go down in history.”

The controversy began last month when BTS’s agency addressed dating rumors surrounding Jimin and Song Da-eun. The rumors gained momentum after Da-eun posted a TikTok on August 27, showing her waiting for Jimin in an elevator and greeting him, which sparked widespread discussion on social media.

Rumors about a relationship between Jimin and Da-eun had been circulating since 2022 and had grown so much that fans even speculated about a possible engagement. The situation escalated further when Da-eun tearfully told her followers that she would take legal action against online harassment and warned against false claims. She said, “You can’t accept that your idol loves me.”

BigHit Music later released a statement clarifying that Jimin and Da-eun were “acquainted with mutual affection several years ago,” but emphasized that they are not in a relationship at present. The agency also urged fans and the public to refrain from spreading rumors or false information.
