BTS’ Jin is now in Italy! On September 21, the singer was spotted at Incheon International Airport as he suddenly departed overseas. Although no official schedule had been announced earlier, it was later confirmed that he would be attending a Gucci event in Milan. For ARMY, this came as a delightful surprise. Known for his charismatic personality and striking visuals, Jin always draws attention—and this time, he did so for a special reason.
At the Italian airport, fans gave him a grand welcome. But instead of the usual chaos and crowding, Jin was greeted through the Purple Ribbon Project—a thoughtful initiative designed to ensure idols’ safety while giving fans a chance to interact from a safe distance.
ARMY responds to V’s request with unique effort
As Jin entered Milan, he looked pleasantly surprised by the organized reception. Smiling and waving, he warmly greeted fans, who cheered enthusiastically yet calmly from behind the purple ribbon barricade. His security team also managed the situation smoothly, keeping the crowd well under control.
The Purple Ribbon Project, first launched by BTS ARMY in 2018, emphasizes creating a safe and respectful boundary around idols using purple ribbons—the symbolic color of BTS. This allows fans to greet their stars safely without overcrowding.
Recently, the project came back into focus after BTS’ V mentioned in a livestream that he hoped fans would revive it. He explained that this initiative could help prevent dangerous crowding at airports and other events, giving idols a chance to meet fans safely. It seems ARMY took his words to heart and once again showed their maturity.
