Believe it or not, Jungkook once went ghost hunting in the middle of the night inside his own home. He shared the entire story — including a “shocking twist” — with fans during a live broadcast.
The story began when a fan jokingly said someone was standing behind him — a common prank during livestreams. Instead of getting scared, Jungkook casually said it could actually be a ghost, since he had already gone searching for one before starting the stream. Fans were stunned.
He enthusiastically explained how he followed tips from professional ghost hunters:
“Before moving in here, I was really excited to meet a ghost. Around 2 AM, I turned off all the lights, took the device ghost hunters use, and sat in the living room waiting…”
As for the outcome, he laughed and said:

Jungkook also shared why he wanted to search for ghosts. He had actually seen a ghost in the dorm before, which sparked his curiosity about spirits.
“I saw a ghost in the dorm! I wanted to ask them how old they are, what happened to them, and maybe even become friends. I was curious. And I still am!”
He admitted that he had prepared extensively in case he actually encountered a ghost — watching countless videos and learning methods — but when nothing happened, he gracefully ended the experiment.
